KNOW OUR PRODUCERS

 

ADEL’s network consist of 527 families that belong to cooperatives, food processing centers or female associations located in the South and North of the West Bank. In total, ADEL works with 12 food processing centers, which produce pickles, olive oil, cookies, grapes products, cheese, etc… ADEL plays a central role organizing female food cooperatives and training them on food processing and marketing. Products are then dispatched to the ADEL marketing center to be stored or sold.

Farmers & producers are selected depending on a range of criteria but ADEL works in priority with smallholders as well as those most in need; many are located in area C, and more generally, we target producers who have difficulty selling their products at a fair price. We also try to support youth as well as innovative projects.
